Wedding Wednesday: Bridal Portraits

Hi friends! 🤍
Wow, it’s been a hot minute. Not only since I’ve shared a #WeddingWednesday post but since I’ve blogged! Quick update as to why I haven’t been so active lately. 2020 was a crazy year we’ll never forget for obvious reasons and 2021 was a year of transition. Change doesn’t come easy to me so with starting a new job, trying to get back to living a “normal” life, wondering if my 2020 2x postponed wedding was ever going to happen & all of that stress, I honestly just wasn’t in the mood to blog. After finally having my dream wedding with fam & friends, the hubs & I went into a “living our best life” period where we basically didn’t wait for the weekend to go out whether it was with friends, to dinner, or for a drink (or two). We were just so relieved to finally have our day, we felt like a 2-week honeymoon wasn’t enough so we made it a 5-month honeymoon LOL where we didn’t add any extra work on top of our regular day jobs. Now that 5 months have passed, I’m ready to get back into blogging little by little!

With all this being said, last week I shared on Instagram a few of my favorite photos from my bridal portrait sesh I had back in March of 2020. What took me so long to post these photos?! I mean, other than the fact that no one saw me in my dress till we had our wedding in May 2021, ha! After sharing a few pics, I got a few requests to share the rest! It really only took one person to ask for me to share because why wouldn’t I want to share these!! Enjoy seeing some of my favorite photos of me in my dream wedding dress. I truly wish I could wear this dress more than just one day! Can we normalize wearing wedding dresses to other occasions other than your own wedding? Kidding. 😂

I hope you enjoyed these pics just as much as I did. I can’t believe I finally got to wear this dress in front of everybody just 5 months ago after not putting it on for almost a year (shoutout to the pandemic). Let me know if you have any questions in regard to bridal portraits or just wedding questions in general. I’d love to answer! Until next time.
Xx, Es
