My Experience At The I Do! Soiree

Happy Friday everyone!

This past Tuesday I attended the I Do! Soiree and spoiler alert: SO MUCH FUN!  But, really, attending this event is something I have wanted to go to for yearsss now. And now that I’m engaged, I finally felt like I could go & benefit from all it has to offer. The I do! Soiree is an annual event that happens every January at The Corinthian in downtown Houston & it’s Houston’s Luxury Wedding Planning Event & Bridal Show where you will get the opportunity to meet some of Houston’s A-List vendors. So many of you have had questions on if it’s worth it to attend events like these & my short answer is YES! You may be wondering why & I’m here to tell you & also give you an insight on how my experience was.Photos by: Civic Photos, sponsored by Weddings In Houston

The night started with myself, my mom, maid of honor and two bridesmaids walking in the doors and immediately feeling special. We were greeted by someone who asked if they could hang our coats for us and they even had a red carpet which I thought was the perfect extra touch. After checking in and receiving THE best swag bag ever thanks to Weddings In Houston. We went straight to the bar and all got a glass of white wine. It’s such a sweet moment to cheers with your bride tribe during this special season of wedding planning. We walked around and spoke to almost every vendor. I found so many I would love to work with for my wedding and was able to speak to them one on one, share information and get information. I really felt like it was all coming together. In just one night!! We ate delicious hors d’oeuvre, danced on the dance floor, took photos in the photo booth and fantasized on how my day is going to look like. Speaking to these amazing vendors was great because they’re really the ones who help you visualize how your day will be. Each and every single vendor made me and my bride tribe feel so special and unique. It really was a relaxing evening designed to educate and inspire, where couples can have FUN planning the perfect Houston wedding, and where every couple receives VIP treatment. A moment that happened that night that I never in a million years thought would happen is falling in love with a dress one vendor had hanging. We even set up an appointment where I could come in and try on all the dresses they have to offer. It truly was such a fun night for me & my bride tribe.Photos by: Civic Photos, sponsored by Weddings In Houston

Now I know a lot of y’all want to know the why’s. Let’s get right to it. How many of us are engaged & confused? *raises hand*  How many of us have a busy schedule due to working full time, going to school full time, or being a full-time momma? Majority of us right? That means you don’t have all the time in the world to meet with tons of vendors trying to decide who should cater your wedding or who should be the one playing the music. Attending events like the I Do! Soiree is the perfect opportunity to meet not just so many vendors, but so many GREAT vendors. At this soiree I was able to meet some of the best of the best Houston has to offer. From photographers to wedding planners, caterers, videographers, DJ’s and more! You save yourself so much time attending an event like this one where you can speak to so many in one night rather than trying to schedule one individually which would take months to try and do. I loved this soiree because although yes, you’re meeting vendors, it never feels overwhelming. You’re not going to have to go through hundreds of vendors in hope of finding the right one. The soiree helps us brides to be by doing their research and knowing which vendors are worth working with. Some of my favorite from the soiree were

There were many to choose from but these really stood out to me. I can’t thank Weddings In Houston enough for not just creating a partnership with me but for also being my go-to site when it comes to Houston Weddings. They share real weddings that happen here in Houston and they’re the one-stop website where you can get information from Houston vendors.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask & happy wedding planning!
